It's been a very long time, readers, and I haven't posted anything since a long time ago. I got an accident and I broke a small part of my elbow. anyway, I'll just post more next time, kinda busy.

ERASERS: History

An Old Friend Reminded me about the History of ERASERS, this visual novel I'm making  now.

ERASERS used to be called "Elemental Academy"
and it was about... well, the Elemental Academy, the school where every student
special enough  to have at least one super power of an element was to study...

And so, there went my Elemental students, Breeze, Flair, Wattson, Aera, Geo, Aquos, Brass, Winfred, Bern, Coby, Eve, Claudia and so much more...(ditched half of them; too many to make)
I thought to myself... "If everybody had powers, then the Academy would be a chaotic place."
so I canceled the Idea. But that was just one of the factors, There's more..

Back Then...
Elemental Academy, or EA was meant to be a Comic/Manga..
    And the second reason why it didn't continue would be that...
Making Manga is Tiring.
well, at least, that's what I thought back then..
and I still think so, actually.

The Characters sucked. It was so hard to draw them again and again without a definite style and refined talent. I gave up. I was... 12 years old (2008) when I started EA. Grade 6.
and my only loyal readers were my batchmates.. and some people younger than me..
I guess only kids appreciate kids' works..

There were some Crazy Ideas back there..
like the Aliens called Selenians or creatures of the moon.
These selenians were the source of their Elemental powers..
I thought that so it would be more Sci-Fi than Fantasy... fiction, nonetheless...
because of that, I thought of naming it Seleneon Instead....
but that was stupid. so I thought of a plot concerning the basis of Fantasy itself.. Magic and Mana.

but then again., I cancelled them out.

the first Ideals were too tiring to finish, so I took a different path: Visual Novel.
I said to myself: "just using one sprite for each character is more efficient than making several manga poses each page... right?"
So I met Ren'py and its free Visual Novel Engine..
That was one of my first tastes of simple programming.
It was very Beneficial. more beneficial than just sticking to something I'm not That good at.


Yeah. I guess that's that.

Well, I gotta post something, it's been a long time after all.
I'm now working more on the story of the Erasers.
I just discovered this week that I just made around 25 characters including the supporting ones...

Vibrants: fiends to "Erase"

So The Enemies Are Here! 

These red Beings are the Vibrants. They're the result of a curse activated by an 

Evil antagonist called Phobos.

Phobos corrupted the main source of mana in this world:

The Earth's Mana Core (or what I'd like to call the Gaia Core.)

because of this, red mana has been spreading out, creating the Vibrants.

These beings are out to consume Your Core to get stronger,

You are to Erase these beings before they Consume Others and gain Wisdom,

for when they do, It'll be really Dangerous.

Robots in Magic Novels

Erasers is a Magic Novel, or a fantasy..
So I've been thinking, I've been practicing some Robo-work,
Here, I have a Blueprint... in progress...

I really don't know how I'll place
 this in my Visual Novel at all,
probably I'll make a 3D model
and capture pictures..

Working on my character Zan Kizuna

I'm working on just this one, actually.. for now, but my designs are all pretty well defined for some of the other characters..

I made this blog so that maybe some people could comment or give suggestions about my story, or on the Characters. a quick and nice story is what I'm trying to develop for now, so I can catch some attention before going to the actual and climatic plot...

and Explain each..

Alright... First of all, I would like to present the Heroine, Flair Singe. She is one of the first friends Breeze Meets in the first parts of the Visual Novel. She has a burning passion and lively way in doing her Stuff. She is Cautious and very inspirational when it comes to tough Situations... Supposedly.
Later in the game, she Realizes she has the power to Summon Fire.

And This Young Man Is Breeze Kelvin. He is the Founder and Leader of the Erasers, the Hero of the story, And the Character you will control throughout the game. He has the power to make Ice, or Freeze, by Meddling with Heat and Reducing Temperature.

Everybody Has Their Own Core. a Mana Core.. We, Normal People Have White Cores.

The Magic users, people who manipulate Mana, Have Blue Cores, Allowing them to Manage the Mana they produce and Gather. 

Mana of course, is the essence of Magic, or Fuel, Credit for the expense of creating Magic, an extraordinary occurrence that breaks the rules of all Science, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.

 It's the fuel for the Impossible.

 More Impossible = More Mana.

By an unknown Cause, an intervention in the past Created a disruption, a big change in the system of Magic Management. This Disruption Corrupted the Distribution of Mana, and made it corrupt.

Normal Mana was a bright blue then, corrupted Mana was Red and made people lose Control, giving their Bodies to their own Cores that have been tainted Red or Corrupted..

 Thus, these Vibrant Red Beings have been called "Vibrants". 

Throughout the story, Vibrants have been a daily problem,enemy and chore to those Erasers,

or Magic Users.

 There is a way to fight Vibrants! and that is to battle them head on!

There is a Weak spot in every movement.

and that is why you must choose well what your card will be!

There are 3 Choices! Rock! Paper or Scissors!

Of course, you already know how That's being played, and that's why this game is gonna be Very easy! in every card you choose, There is a different Attack or Defense,

and you probably Know how it works.

Rock = Swift Attack,             Evasive Defense

Paper = Area Attack,     Block(Basic) Defense

Scissors = Power Attack ,     Counter attack( Self defense)
